Larry, LBJ? I am not familiar with that term, I'm sorry. Well Lyndon Baines Johnson. My brother actually joined up when he was 17. My mom did not want him to do it, but he bugged the cr@p out of her until she finally gave in and signed the papers. The army told him they were sending him to Germany and would send him to school for computers. Whatever. He went straight to Nam. He was only 17 years old! That was back in the day when 17 was just a kid! Congratulations on being clean for 28 years! That is a real accomplishment! Were you being facetious about my being on dial up and being a moderator of a group? Chana

Larry, I have a bridge in Brooklyn I would like to sell you. No seriously. I hope I did not offend or bring up bad memories by my Q. My brother & I never actually discussed it for 20 some years. I was taking a class concerning it and called him and asked him to talk to me about some of the books I was reading for the class and we got into a really long converasation about many things. He said he just wanted to put it behind him. He spent alot of time in the stockade (stockaid?) when he was there because he just could not deal. I think it messed with his head really bad, not suprised about that. Anyway, unless you initiate this is the last I will say on the subject. Chana
